Tottenham prodigy Troy Parrott will reportedly get chances in the senior set-up next season – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are ecstatic about the plans.
According to Football.London, the 17-year-old is expected to be more involved with the first team squad next year after making an impression on senior boss Mauricio Pochettino in training.
The report details that the teenager could be included on the club’s pre-season tour to Asia if he’s fully recovered from an injury problem.
Parrott is an exciting centre-forward that has scored goals at youth level for Spurs, but is yet to make his first appearance for the first team.
The Irish striker is still at the beginning of his career, but the 2019/20 campaign may be a chance for him to take some steps forward.

The North London club could need a new face to play a back-up role to Harry Kane next season, as Fernando Llorente is set to exit this summer when his contract expires.
It would of course be a mammoth step up for Parrott, but he may be eased in next year.
A selection of Spurs supporters on social media have given the green light on plans to promote the rising star.
