Tottenham fans think Lucas Moura is their secret weapon
Lucas Moura scored Tottenham’s second equaliser.
Lucas Moura got on the scoresheet as Tottenham Hotspur gained a respectable point against Manchester City. At The Etihad Stadium, Spurs drew 2-2 with the champions after twice going behind.
Erik Lamela cancelled out Raheem Sterling’s opener before Lucas earned a point after Sergio Aguero’s goal. Lucas is proving his importance to the Spurs team with each game that passes.
The Brazilian midfielder was named on the bench against Man City – a decision that irked some fans. He proved his point by coming off the bench to save a point for the North London club.
Lucas scored in an unexpected fashion. Despite his diminutive height, he managed to head the ball in from a corner. He got across Kyle Walker and leapt to glance his header past Ederson.

The 27-year-old has grown into his role since his January 2018 switch from Paris Saint-Germain. Last season, injuries ensured he became a regular fixture in the starting line-up. Yesterday, he showed Mauricio Pochettino why he should be playing each week.
Here are some tweets from Tottenham fans reacting to Lucas’ goal and his good performance.

Lucas you should be one of the very first names on our team sheet, your pace terrifies defenders and cannot wait for you to show the rest of the league just what a special player you are.
Personal highlight today was you out-jumping Walker for your equaliser, you love to see it! pic.twitter.com/eUzVcdEmmi
