Tottenham fans think Harry Kane has said his goodbyes after Aston Villa loss
Tottenham were beaten 2-1 at home by Aston Villa and afterwards Spurs fans were heartbroken at an apparent goodbye from Harry Kane.
The Spurs striker has been linked with a move away from the club and plenty of supporters think he was saying an emotional farewell following the defeat.
At the end of yesterday’s game, Kane went to each corner of the stadium and spent time applauding the supporters. Both Manchester clubs have been linked with a move to sign him during the summer.
It would be a crucial blow if the 27-year-old walks away from Tottenham during the summer. He has found the net 32 times this season, registering 16 assists.
Kane has scored 220 goals in total for his boyhood club but could now walk away during the summer. The challenge for Daniel Levy could be to ensure the club receives the very best deal for the star man.
It looks as though Tottenham might face a losing battle to keep him, however, with bigger, more successful clubs courting his services.
Of course, given the money it will cost for him to leave Tottenham, it’s not completely out of the question that he will stay.
After last night, however, Spurs fans think his mind is made up and they’ve taken to Twitter to discuss.
Final nail has gone in. 😢

It was predictable Aaron, Kane is a winner, our once mighty football club is a vehicle for making ENIC/ Levy wealthy beyond imagination.

At the start of the season the prospect of Bale, Son and Kane as a front three was incredible. There must be a very real possibility that none of the three will be at the club for the start of next. That’s a baptism of fire for whoever gets appointed as the next manager.

We failed him. As much as it breaks my heart, he deserves to move on
