Tottenham fans think Hakim Ziyech will reject them

Hakim Ziyech is Tottenham Hotspur’s number one target to replace Christian Eriksen, according to 90min.

Tottenham want to sign a new creative midfielder with Eriksen’s exit looking inevitable. Daniel Levy has drawn up a four-man shortlist which is headed by Ajax star Ziyech.

Celta Vigo’s Brais Mendez, who has failed to score or provide an assist this season, is another option. Roma and Italy star Lorenzo Pellegrini and Sporting CP’s Bruno Fernandes complete the four-man list of targets.

But Ziyech is Tottenham’s number one choice ahead of the January window. The Morocco international has been exceptional for Ajax over the past few years and could make a move to England.

This season, Ziyech has scored six goals and provided 15 assists in 21 matches. He has the creative spark that Spurs have been missing with Eriksen out of form.

Ziyech recently showed what he can do against English opposition with three assists against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Spurs fans know him well from the Champions League semi-final last season but quite a few believe he will reject this move.
