Tottenham fans think Dane Scarlett has hinted at Harry Kane's exit on Instagram
Dane Scarlett showed off a signed shirt from Harry Kane after Tottenham Hotspur’s 4-2 win over Leicester City on his Instagram story, with a message on the shirt reading: “best wishes” – and many Spurs fans believe teenage star Scarlett may have just hinted that Kane could be about to leave.
Kane, 27, is being linked with the exit door after another brilliant season on a personal level – something which has not been matched by the club as a whole. Kane won top scorer and most assists, but Spurs finished in seventh.
Reports claim that Kane has informed the Tottenham board he would like to leave the North London club this summer in pursuit of silverware – but it remains to be seen if any interested parties can meet his £150m price tag.
Scarlett’s post came after Kane had helped Spurs come from behind to beat Leicester 4-2 – in which Kane scored and created another. It has seen Tottenham scrape into Europe, albeit in the European Conference League.
Many Tottenham fans responded to the post from Scarlett, and in particular the wording from their number 10. The concern is that they believe Kane saying “best wishes” suggests that he could be saying goodbye to Scarlett.
