Tottenham host Everton on the final day of the Premier League season on Sunday – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have urged manager Mauricio Pochettino to start Vincent Janssen.
Spurs will finish inside the top four of the league unless an unlikely eight-goal swing against them occurs.
The North London club will be hoping to finish the league campaign strongly, but they can be forgiven for having one eye on 1 June.
Pochettino’s side will face English rivals Liverpool at the start of next month in the Champions League final and they booked spot courtesy of Lucas Moura’s stunning hat-trick against Ajax in the semi-finals.
Spurs are still riding the wave of their brilliant European adventure, but need to somehow come down to earth for a final league game against an in-form Everton.
Heung-Min Son (suspended) and Harry Kane (injured) leaves the team short of attacking options, especially after the midweek efforts of Moura and Fernando Llorente.
A selection of Spurs fans on social media have suggested Janssen is given a rare appearance at the weekend.

Janssen, 24, has made just two senior appearances this campaign and they came off the bench recently in the league.
The Dutchman has never lived up to his £17million (BBC) signature back in 2016, but has remained professional this season despite being frozen out.
He would give offers a chance to rest if he does feature against Everton, while he is also a summer target for Real Betis (Calciomercato).
Here are some Spurs fans asking for Janssen to start:
