Tottenham fans retrospectively react to Vladan Milojevic’s comments before Champions League thrashing

Tottenham Hotspur fans are looking back and laughing at Red Star Belgrade manager Vladan Milojevic’s comments before the game.

Before Tuesday night’s clash at The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Red Star boss Milojevic talked up his chances. As reported by Football London, Milojevic confidently predicted: “there is nothing to be afraid of, they are not going to be able to stop us.”

Tottenham came into this fixture in awful form. Spurs could only draw at home to bottom club Watford at the weekend. Prior to that, they lost to Brighton, got thumped 7-2 by Bayern Munich and were dumped out of the EFL Cup by League Two side Colchester United.

But Red Star were unable to capitalise on Tottenham’s poor form, despite Milojevic’s confidence. Spurs ran riot in North London, chalking up five goals and bringing the goal difference back to 0.
