Tottenham fans respond to Dele Alli’s latest tweet

Tottenham Hotspur fans have been responding to a new two-word tweet from midfielder Dele Alli.

The 24-year-old took to social media last night to respond to a video clip posted by the club that showed the player scoring his 50th Spurs goal.

The strike came earlier this year against tonight’s opponents Burnley, with that game finishing 1-1.

Since then, Dele has failed to net in the English top-flight as his form has waned.

The star didn’t get many minutes during Project Restart with injury not helping his cause, and his struggles have continued into 2020/21 with Jose Mourinho not selecting him in four matchday squads so far.

It’s a tough time for Dele at the moment, who is seemingly getting some tough love from Mourinho, who described the player as a lazy trainer in Tottenham’s All or Nothing Amazon Prime docuseries.

The player is in a much different place now compared to his early days at Spurs, which saw him scoop back to back PFA Young Player of the Year awards.

Responding to Tottenham tweeting out his last Premier League goal against Burnley, Dele quote-tweeted with the message ‘Good times’, perhaps in acknowledgement that things are difficult just at the moment.

His reaction prompted many Spurs fans to respond, with plenty sending messages of support to the player:
