Tottenham fans react to Victor Osimhen interest reports

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from Sky Sports suggesting that Spurs are one of the sides interested in signing Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen is enjoying a superb campaign with Lille. He has scored 12 goals in all competitions having only joined the Ligue 1 side during the summer.

Sky Sports reports that a number of Premier League sides are interested in the 20-year-old. Spurs are one of his reported admirers, but the report suggested that Liverpool and Chelsea are also monitoring his situation.

It appears that a January move looks unlikely. Sky Sports added that Lille are ready to hold onto Osimhen for the rest of the campaign unless an incredible offer arrives next month.

And it appears that the Tottenham supporters are divided over whether that incredible bid should come from Daniel Levy and Jose Mourinho.

Some believe that Spurs do not need the youngster. They have noted that the club do not have a fantastic record when it comes to signing attacking players from France’s top flight in recent years. And others want to see Troy Parrott given more of a chance before another addition is made.

However, there are others who are adamant that he could prove to be an inspired addition. It is suggested that his pace could make him a fantastic option for Mourinho and his counter-attacking style.
