Tottenham fans react to Troy Parrott’s winning goal for Under 23s versus Olympiacos

Tottenham’s Under 23 side faces Olympiacos earlier today before the senior sides do battle and the match was settled by Troy Parrott.

He is one of the hottest young prospects at the club and made his international debut for the Republic of Ireland during the past break.

And Parrott was the difference as Spurs’ young guns secured a result that, if Jose Mourinho’s men can repeat it tonight, will see them into the knockout stages of the Champions League.

It’s fair to say that Parrott has got Tottenham fans excited and the news that he was the man who sealed the victory got supporters on Twitter talking.

One of the question marks around Jose Mourinho at Tottenham is how well he can use the club’s young talent and Parrott will form a major part of that, especially in light of how Mauricio Pochettino failed to promote from within to cover for Harry Kane.
