Steven Bergwijn was the match-winner for the Netherlands on Friday night in the Nations League – and some Tottenham fans reacted on Twitter to praise their player for his international performance.
The Spurs attacker scored the only goal for the Dutch in a narrow 1-0 victory against Poland in the Nations League, as he found space in the box to tap in from close-range.
Bergwijn is a young winger that netted his first international goal on Friday and is certainly someone with so much potential to try fulfil.
The 22-year-old scored three goals in 16 games following his transfer to Spurs from PSV Eindhoven back in January and he looks well suited to the Premier League with his rapid pace.
He’s got plenty of competition in the forward areas at the north London club, but he’s strong with both feet and has got the ability to breeze past an opponent from a standing start.

A selection of Spurs supporters on social media were impressed by their winger’s dazzling international contribution and some are convinced he needs to be given more game-time by club boss Jose Mourinho.
He featured regularly during the back end of last season, but started only one of his last six games for the club.
