Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to another lively performance from winger Steve Bergwijn, after the club beat Aston Villa 3-2 in the Premier League.
The Netherlands ace was again selected to start by Jose Mourinho for Sunday’s game with the relegation-threatened side, following a fine debut against Manchester City.

Bergwijn joined the club from PSV Eindhoven in January in a deal reported to be worth around £27 million (BBC Sport).
Bergwijn opened the scoring with a stunning volley against City, leaving fans purring over the player and his potential.
His good form continued at Villa Park, with Bergwijn troubling Villa’s defence throughout.
According to @TalkingTHFC, the 22-year-old completed 86% of his passes, made three key passes, had 100% crossing accuracy and aerial duels won. He also won a penalty, which Heung-min Son couldn’t convert.

It was another promising performance from the forward, who again left Spurs fans impressed with how sharp he looked.
Tottenham fans react
It was not the best performance from Spurs with the defensive fragility still there for all to see, but Bergwijn was one of the few shining lights for Spurs, and fans expressed their excitement on social media:
