Tottenham fans react to Ryan Sessegnon’s Tweet

Ryan Sessegnon has been constantly linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur and he congratulated Spurs for their excellent win over Ajax on Wednesday night – and Spurs fans reacted to his Tweet.

Sessegnon, who turns 19 on May 18, starred for Fulham as they gained promotion to the Premier League last season. He scored 16 goals and laid on a further eight assists.

But the step up to the Premier League has affected Sessegnon, as the versatile left winger has only started 25 Premier League matches. He has only found the back of the net on two occasions, while creating six assists.

Considering the England Under-21 international is still only 18 years of age, though, he is showing plenty of promise. Now Fulham have been relegated, he could be on the move this summer. He congratulated Spurs for their Ajax win.

The Daily Mail claimed in March that Tottenham were preparing a £50million move for Sessegnon, who was touted as a wild card option for England’s 23-man squad ahead of last summer’s World Cup.

Tottenham fans reacted in their drones to Sessegnon’s Tweet, with many convinced that the left-footer is going to sign on with Mauricio Pochettino’s side. Whether they splash £50million, is a different story.
