Tottenham fans react to Romano claims on Inter defender Milan Skriniar

Tottenham are long-term admirers of Inter defender Milan Skriniar and Fabrizio Romano claims it could cost the club £68 million to sign him.

The Slovakian defender has played 30 times for Inter this season with Antonio Conte valuing him very highly.

It seems certain that plenty of interest will remain in the hunt to sign the centre-back, despite his hefty price tag.

In total, the uncompromising defender has made 158 appearances for the Serie A side, scoring seven goals.

Tottenham will almost certainly be in the market for a new centre-back with Eric Dier and Davinson Sanchez both struggling for consistency this season.

The £95,000-a-week star could certainly fill a void in the Spurs backline but whether or not they’ll pay the money to sign him is another matter.

Jose Mourinho might feel as though he can get better for less and could look elsewhere for a defender.

Following Romano’s update, we looked at what Tottenham fans were saying about the valuation placed on Skriniar’s head.
