Tottenham have been linked with Vitoria defender Abdul Mumin – but some of the club’s fans on Twitter are not happy with the transfer speculation.
The Sun claims that Spurs are targeting the 22-year-old centre-back who plays for Portuguese top-flight side, Vitoria.
It is understood that Spurs are joined by Premier League rivals Aston Villa and Newcastle United in the race for him.
The report explains that he would cost around £15million to sign this summer, with all three linked clubs in need of a new centre-half for next season.
As Spurs continue to be linked with players, it’s worth noting that they are yet to appoint a new manager.
Ryan Mason is still in charge as interim boss for the final few games of the season, but the north London club are now in danger of giving a new manager very little time to get things in place ahead of the next campaign.

A selection of Spurs supporters on social media are underwhelmed with the links to Mumin.
The fact he’s an unknown player to English audiences goes against him, plus the fanbase are extremely ambitious and want to see the very best strengthen their XI.
However, Mumin is described in the Sun report as someone who’s quick, dominant in the air and technically gifted with the ball at his feet.
It will be interesting to see if the current starting centre-back combination Eric Dier and Toby Alderweireld is still in place next year.
