Tottenham have been linked with Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus ahead of the summer transfer window – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter are positive about him as a possible transfer target.
According to the Daily Mail, Spurs are planning for a likely departure of their 27-year-old centre-forward Harry Kane after he informed them he wants to leave at the end of the season.
It is understood that there is interest from Man City, Manchester United and Chelsea in his signature.
The report states that Spurs scouts have identified 24-year-old Jesus as a possible target, and he’s someone that could be used in a part-exchange deal for Man City to sign Kane.
Jesus, who moved to the Etihad Stadium for £27million (Sky Sports) back in 2016, has now won three Premier League titles after his team’s success this season.
The Brazilian centre-forward isn’t a nailed-on starter at Man City, but is a clinical finisher around the box who works his socks off on the pitch and has been important for Pep Guardiola’s squad for years.
His record in a Man City shirt reads an impressive 81 goals in 192 appearances. The South American has just 13 goals though in all competitions so far this season.

A selection of Spurs supporters on social media have argued that Jesus could be a decent target for them.
Of course, you’d find it hard trying to find a Spurs fan that actually wants Kane to leave this summer. But they’ll need a replacement signing if he does exit, and Jesus would help Man City knockdown some of Kane’s transfer fee.
