Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly joined the race to sign AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek amid links to Aston Villa and West Ham United – and Spurs fans think the Polish ace would be an excellent signing.
The Guardian have claimed that Spurs are interested in the 24-year-old Poland international, who has fallen down the pecking order at the San Siro following the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He has failed to replicate last season’s stunning form.
During the first half of 2018-19, Piatek smashed home 19 goals in just 21 games for Genoa and earned himself a move to AC Milan. He continued his goalscoring form, netting a further 11 in 21 – ending the campaign with stats of 30 goals in 42 games.

This season, though, Piatek has netted just four in 18 games and Milan are now ready to recoup the £30million they paid for him – especially given the signing of superstar Ibrahimovic. Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed Villa have bid £25.5million.
Harry Kane’s hamstring injury is expected to keep the England skipper on the sidelines until March at the earliest, leaving Jose Mourinho with little option up front. Troy Parrott is still 17, while Lucas Moura and Son Heung-min are better elsewhere.
Tottenham fans reacted to the reported news that their club could look to sign Piatek, though Spurs, Villa and Newcastle prefer a loan while Milan want a permanent exit. Spurs fans believe he would be an excellent signing this month.
