Tottenham’s Harry Kane is being linked with Real Madrid – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter are not happy with the speculation.

Spanish publication SER Deportivos has claimed that La Liga giants Real Madrid are looking at bringing a world-class attacker to the Bernabeu in the summer.

It is explained that Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe and Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland are on their transfer radar, but Spurs’ frontman Kane is mentioned as a possible third option.

The report explains that the 27-year-old England captain is seen as someone who’d be a cheaper alternative to the other two.

A selection of Spurs fans on social media are frustrated about the fact Kane is viewed as a third-choice option, and they are advising their player to ignore Madrid’s possible interest.

It sounds like they wouldn’t begrudge him a move away, as he’s still yet to win silverware in his senior career since coming through the club’s academy.

But insist Madrid is the wrong destination.

The centre-forward has to be considered in the elite bracket of attackers in the world.

He’s such a clinical finisher with 27 goals in 40 games this season, plus he’s shown he’s capable of being a playmaker too by providing 16 assists.
