Tottenham fans react to report that Wilfried Zaha is interested in joining this summer

Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha is interested in a move to Tottenham this summer, according to a report by the Independent.

They report that after Arsenal turned their attention away from Zaha to focus on Nicolas Pepe, the Palace flier has been exploring his other options and would be keen on a move to Spurs.

But the report also says that Tottenham have no interest in pursuing Zaha at this point, with the money involved in signing the Ivorian eye-watering.

The Guardian reported back in 2016 that Spurs made a £12 million bid for Zaha but saw it knocked back – and now do not appear to be desperate to go all-out to land him.

There may well be many Tottenham fans who do not want Zaha near their club after his summer-long flirtation with Arsenal and the impression that he doesn’t mind where he goes from Palace as long as it’s up.

But many took to Twitter to bemoan their club’s lack of interest in a player who has been one of the best outside the Premier League’s top six for a number of seasons now and has reportedly been on Mauricio Pochettino’s radar before.
