Tottenham are unwilling to meet Leeds United’s valuation of promising winger Jack Clarke this summer, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.
They report that Spurs had a serious interest in the teenage midfielder who had something of a breakthrough sseason at Elland Road.
But Tottenham do not usually spend big money on players and there’s always a premium on young England talent anyway.
That’s likely to be the case even given Clarke’s relative lack of experience and his dwindling contract situation and Spurs are apparently not willing to go to that.
