Tottenham are plotting a major summer clearout with eight players now up for sale, according to the Daily Telegraph.
They report that Spurs are plotting a revamp of their squad, which is simultaneously pretty thin but also has a fair amount of deadwood in it.
That apparently means that Josh Onomah, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Marcus Edwards have lost the patience of the club as developing talents, while Vincent Janssen’s inevitable departure is wanted this window too.
In terms of players who were in the first team plans last season, three full backs – Danny Rose, Kieran Trippier and Serge Aurier – are all up for sale, as well as midfielder Victor Wanyama.

Plenty of Tottenham fans took to Twitter to respond to the report and it was really just the presence of Rose on the list that grabbed their attention.
A couple of other names – Erik Lamela and Eric Dier – were put forward as those that supporters wouldn’t mind losing, while getting rid of both right backs in the same window seemed unnecessarily cavalier to some fans.
But it’s Rose who provoked the strongest feelings online, many Spurs supporters don’t want to see him out the exit door this summer…
