Tottenham are exploring the possibility of screening their Champions League final clash against Liverpool at the club’s new ground, according to the Times.
They report that with the cost of flights and hotels as well as the scarcity of tickets providing a barrier to getting Spurs fans out to Madrid for the match on June 1st.
That has apparently led Spurs to consider the possibility of showing the match at their shiny new ground, which could provide quite the atmosphere on a special night for the club.
The report says that talks are currently ongoing with Haringey Council and Metropolitan Police to see from a security perspective whether such an event is plausible.

It’s a disgrace born out of greed that means more fans can’t get hold of tickets or afford to go out to Spain to follow their team on what should be the greatest night of their lives supporting their team.
But what an atmosphere it would be inside the stadium if Spurs could lay on such an event for those fans who can’t get out to Madrid.
The fans certainly seem excited by the prospect…
