Tottenham fans react to report about Harry Kane
Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted to a report over what shocked Harry Kane last Sunday during the win over Wolves.
What’s the story?
According to football.london, the centre-forward was ‘taken aback’ by the support shown by Spurs fans last weekend.
The England international came on in the 72nd minute as a replacement for Heung-Min Son. He came on to a hearty welcome from the Spurs faithful, who chanted in his honour.
It was the talisman’s first appearance of the season following a summer-long transfer saga.
Kane has been linked with a move to Manchester City. However, a switch is now dead with the 28-year-old confirming he will stay in N17 this summer.
It hass left him with a strained relationship with Daniel Levy, who is seething with the striker, according to The Athletic.
Kane needs to mend hearts
Kane needs to repair the broken relationships he has made at Tottenham over the course of this summer after the latest report
A cynic would say Kane’s social media activity was him trying to repair damage done to his relationship with fans.
However, it seems that can never be damaged if last Sunday’s events are anything to go by.
The first relationship that needs fixing is Kane’s with Levy. Both men seemingly have not seen eye-to-eye this summer, and desperately need to put their differences aside for the team.
