Tottenham fans react to performance of Tanguy Ndombele during Sunday win

Tottenham defeated Sheffield United 3-1 at Bramall Lane to go fourth in the Premier League. Afterwards, it was a stunning goal from Tanguy Ndombele which had supporters in awe on Twitter.

Serge Aurier got Spurs off to a flyer in the fifth minute, with Harry Kane doubling Spurs’ lead five minutes before the half-time interval.

David McGoldrick handed the Blades a lifeline with just over half-an-hour remaining, although their optimism was shortlived.

Ndombele’s moment of brilliance was a real joy to behold and was a strike worthy of winning any game of football.

The Frenchman signed for Tottenham for £53 million from Lyon in the summer of 2019.

He has taken some time to settle at Spurs but it appears some tough love last season by Jose Mourinho has paid dividends.

Ndombele is paid £200,000-a-week at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and has been instrumental this season.

His goal in South Yorkshire was his fourth of the campaign and supporters took to Twitter after the game.

They were in awe of his brilliance and clearly, he has won over his critics from last season.
