Tottenham fans react to performance of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg on Wednesday

Denmark secured a 4-0 win over Austria last night and Tottenham star Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg was in the thick of the action once more.

The midfielder scored his country’s final goal after a brace from Andreas Skov Olsen and Joakim Maehle had put the Danes in the ascendency.

Hojbjerg signed for Tottenham in the summer and has played 43 matches in all competitions throughout the campaign.

He has played every single league game under Jose Mourinho during 2020/21 and has proved a decent addition from Southampton.

Last night he hit form on the international stage and Denmark are quickly becoming a nation to be feared.

He has now scored four goals in 40 outings for his country and the 26-year-old’s stock continues to rise.

The £100,000-a-week player has done superbly well in midfield for Tottenham this season and has arguably been one of the signings of the season.
