Tottenham fans react to performance of Japhet Tanganga during 2-0 win

Tottenham put a difficult week behind them with a 2-0 win over Aston Villa in the Premier League and afterwards, supporters raved about youngster Japhet Tanganga on Twitter.

Jose Mourinho made some changes to his side as he aimed to send a message to his squad that the last week has been unacceptable.

Tottenham were beaten by Arsenal in the North London-derby and then lost 3-0 to Dinamo Zagreb to go out of the Europa League on Thursday night.

Tanganga came in for his third start of the campaign against the Villans and helped Spurs to a solid victory in the Midlands.

Last night he starred at right-back and it’s a position that he could look to nail down long-term under Mourinho.

Both Matt Doherty and Serge Aurier are prone to erratic moments and that represents an opportunity for the academy graduate.

Tanganga earns £45,000-a-week at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and plenty of fans want to see him become a regular in the team now.
