Tottenham Hotspur endured a night to forget in Belgium as Jose Mourinho’s men slipped to a 1-0 defeat to Royal Antwerp. Following the game, supporters took to Twitter to discuss the performance of Dele Alli.
Tottenham have been in fine form this season and some neutrals have even discussed Mourinho overseeing a charge towards the Premier League title.
The Spurs boss made several changes to his side for the Europa League clash, putting out a team that should have been good enough to beat the Belgian outfit.
Such was the performance in the first half, Mourinho opted to make four changes at the break – including the decision to bring Alli off.

The 24-year-old has played just 66 minutes of Premier League football this season and would have been buzzing to earn a chance to impress last night.
Sadly things didn’t go according to plan and now the midfielder faces an anxious wait to discover when he might feature again.
It doesn’t seem too long ago that Spurs fans were calling him one of the best young talents in the world.
The £100,000-a-week performer has scored 63 goals and registered 55 assists for Tottenham and some fans have shown him some sympathy.
