A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to laud Nile John after his performance for Spurs’ under-23s in their loss to West Ham on Monday.
Tottenham suffered defeat in a dramatic clash at the Lamex Stadium. They had gone a goal down inside seven minutes.

However, John equalised shortly after. And the 18-year-old was on hand to equalise at 3-2 down when Tottenham were awarded a penalty.
Unfortunately for the home side, West Ham would add a fourth just before the hour mark. And Spurs were unable to find another leveller.
Nevertheless, John managed to make a major impression on the Tottenham supporters once again.

He has been in stunning form for the under-23s this season. He went into the contest having already scored three in Premier League 2 this term.
Obviously, he has now taken his tally to five. Meanwhile, he also doubled his number of assists, having set up Tottenham’s second on the night.

The teenager did get the chance to feature against Pacos de Ferreira in the Europa Conference League. And he will be setting his sights on more opportunities in the months ahead.
