Tottenham Hotspur have given themselves a real chance of qualifying for the Champions League last 16.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side edged Serie A giants Internazionale 1-0 at Wembley courtesy of a Christian Eriksen winner in the second half.
The north Londoners found themselves in a must-win predicament going into the game, and they did just that and will now qualify from Group B by equalling or bettering Inter’s result on matchday six.

Spurs take on Barcelona at the Nou Camp so it’ll be a tough ask, with Inter to face PSV Eindhoven at San Siro.
For now though, Tottenham can enjoy the moment. As can the fans, who flocked to social media to heap praise on one Moussa Sissoko for his contributions to the win.
Sissoko stars again
The Frenchman was deployed as a holding midfielder alongside Harry Winks.
He’s enjoyed something of a renaissance in recent weeks, and he stood out again here.
Sissoko was energetic and showed quality on the ball and he played a big part in the winning goal, surging past two men to take the ball into the box.

Sissoko’s display was huge for Spurs, who are quickly forgetting about the injuries to Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama.
He really has become one of their most important players in recent weeks.
Fans react
Not for the first time this season, some Spurs fans showered the midfield dynamo with praise after the game:
