Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have given their reaction to Jose Mourinho’s stance over Christian Eriksen.
Mourinho left the Denmark international on the bench for his first game against West Ham United on Saturday, bringing him on as a substitute in the second half.

The playmaker’s contract runs out next summer and his performances on the pitch have been notably poor in 2019/20.
Some fans have linked his struggles to the idea he wants to move on, something he himself suggested earlier this year.
Speaking ahead of Spurs’ Champions League clash with Olympiacos, Mourinho spoke about how intends to manage Eriksen.
He said (Goal): “My decisions about starting him or not starting, selecting or not selecting, will be based on a perspective of a future.

“I cannot hide that. We have a present and, in football, we have to focus on the present. In this case, the game tomorrow, but it’s a club where you have to think about the future.”
The comments suggest that Eriksen will not be nailed on to start games for Spurs, and it’s something that seems to have gone down rather well.
Tottenham fans react
Several Tottenham fans liked what Mourinho had to say about the 27-year-old, considering it strong management of a less-than-ideal situation:
