Tottenham Hotspur have drawn Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb in the last 16 of the Europa League – and Tottenham supporters have responded to the news on Twitter, with many delighted that they have avoided some of the bigger clubs.
The likes of Man United, AC Milan, Rangers and Arsenal progressed into the last 16 alongside north London side Spurs, who are considered one of the favourites with Jose Mourinho in charge. He won it recently with United, but it is down to the draw.
Spurs qualified for the last 16 of the competition with a very comfortable 8-1 aggregate win over Austrian side Wolfsberger – winning 4-0 on Wednesday night in North London in the second leg. Dele Alli scored the pick of the goals.

Zagreb, meanwhile, have qualified for this round having got the better of Russian side Krasnodar. A 3-2 away win last week, followed by a 1-0 win on Thursday night on home soil earned a place in the next round of the competition
Tottenham Hotspur fans responded to the news in buoyant mood as their search for some silverware continues, stretching to 12 years since winning the Carabao Cup in 2009. Many believe the draw gives them the best chance of qualification.
The draw will be played on March 11 and 18th, with Spurs playing away first.
Well happy with Zagreb 👀

#THFC DINAMO ZAGREB! That’s a great draw. They aren’t a bad side but it could have been a lot worse with the possible sides left in the comp.
