Jose Mourinho plans to use Troy Parrott more often to convince him to stay at Tottenham Hotspur, according to The London Evening Standard.
Parrott made his Premier League debut at the weekend with a short cameo against Burnley. Mourinho reportedly rates the Republic of Ireland international highly and is ready to give him a first-team promotion.
Mauricio Pochettino also liked Parrott and gave him his senior debut earlier this season. The 17-year-old played against Colchester United in the EFL Cup and he was on the bench on numerous occasions.
Parrott is a wanted man

Parrott’s talent has not gone unnoticed. This report adds that Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich want Parrott. But Mourinho hopes the teenager will see that Tottenham is the best club for his development if he is given more first-team opportunities.
Aside from Harry Kane, Parrott is the only other natural striker available to Mourinho. He has the chance to show why Spurs do not need to sign a new striker in January.
Here are some Tottenham fans reacting to Mourinho’s plan to play Parrott and stop him from leaving.
