Tottenham fans react to Hugo Lloris’ performance against Watford

Tottenham Hotspur got back to winning ways last night as they claimed all three points in a 2-1 comeback victory over Watford.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side went behind thanks to a Craig Cathcart goal, but were able to turn things around with Heung-min Son – on his return from Asian Cup duty – and Fernando Llorente getting the goals for the hosts.

It has been a difficult time for Spurs of late having exited to cup competitions in the space of just a few days.

Defeats to Chelsea in the Carabao Cup and Crystal Palace in the FA Cup had left fans feeling despondent.

So it was important for them to bounce back.

Lloris concern

Tottenham may have won the game but it was perhaps made more difficult than it ought to have been after another lapse from Hugo Lloris.

The World Cup winner was poor in dealing with the corner that led to Cathcart’s opening goal, giving his teammates a preventable uphill battle in the game.

As good as Lloris can be at times, he continues to show that he has the potential to make errors.

Although jubilant to see their side win again, many Spurs fans flocked to social media to have their say on another mistake by their goalkeeper.
