Tottenham fans react to Hugo Lloris injury update

Tottenham Hotspur’s miserable form has been made worse with the injury to Hugo Lloris. Tottenham’s official website has given an update and the goalkeeper has suffered a dislocated elbow.

Lloris will now undergo further assessment to determine the length of his injury. But it looks like he will be out for the foreseeable future with a serious elbow injury.

The France international sustained his injury during the game with Brighton & Hove Albion. Lloris went to catch an overhit cross but fell backwards and dropped the ball with Neal Maupay scoring Brighton’s opener.

This set Tottenham on their way to a 3-0 loss at Brighton. When combined with the EFL Cup defeat to Colchester United and the 7-2 loss against Bayern Munich, it has been a disaster-hit start to the campaign for Spurs.

Lloris’ injury limits Mauricio Pochettino’s options now with Paulo Gazzaniga ready to assume first-choice responsibilities. Alfie Whiteman is likely to become the bench option.
