Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to Harry Winks’ performance against Manchester City on Sunday.
The north Londoners ran out 2-0 winners at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to boost their top-four hopes.
It was an incident-packed game with VAR once again playing its part, just as it did in the reverse fixture and last season’s Champions League quarter-final second leg.

City dominated possession but were unable to breach Hugo Lloris’ goal, with debutant Steven Bergwijn and Heung-min Son on target for the hosts.
Despite the visitors controlling the game, there were a number of standout performances for Spurs, with Winks particularly impressive.
The England international was tireless and tenacious in the engine room alongside Giovani Lo Celso, which is a partnership that looks like it could have real legs going forwards.

The £50,000-a-week star (Spotrac) was typically tidy in possession, and made a number of interceptions in the game, with one proving crucial when he burst away and drew a foul from Oleksandr Zinchenko which led to a second booking.
According to @LastWordonSpurs, the 23-year-old won nine duels, made three clearances, made two interceptions and one tackle, underlining his effectiveness as a holding midfielder.
Winks’ effort levels were exceptional during a very tough game, and he has surely staked a strong claim to keep his place in the starting XI.
