Tottenham fans react to Giovani Lo Celso injury blow

Tottenham Hotspur will be without summer signing Giovani Lo Celso until the end of October. The club’s official website has confirmed that Lo Celso will miss several weeks of action with a hip injury.

Lo Celso, who joined from Real Betis this summer, has only played a few minutes for Tottenham this season. Mauricio Pochettino is slowly introducing him to the English game by giving him minutes off the bench.

But the 23-year-old’s progress will be slowed by this injury setback. During the international break, the Argentina international picked up a hip injury in the 0-0 draw with Chile. He was assessed by the Spurs medical team to see how serious this injury is and it is not good news.

Tottenham fans are cursing their luck. The North London club made four signings this summer but they have not been in full flow yet. Jack Clarke went back to Leeds United on loan and Ryan Sessegnon has not been fit enough to feature yet.
