A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to implore Daniel Levy to go and sign Donny van de Beek after the midfielder’s stunning performance for Ajax in their 4-4 draw with Chelsea.
The two sides played out one of the most remarkable Champions League games of the season at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.

Ajax went 4-1 up within 10 minutes of the second-half starting. Chelsea then got one back before the Eredivisie side had two men sent off. Frank Lampard’s side went on to score twice more to secure a dramatic point.
Van de Beek was the man to score Ajax’s fourth goal of the night. The 22-year-old is enjoying another fantastic season with last season’s semi-finalists.

The midfielder has scored five goals and contributed four assists in 13 games across the top flight and Champions League.
And his display on Tuesday has prompted several Tottenham fans to urge the club to sign van de Beek at the next opportunity.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have really struggled in midfield this term. And with van de Beek capable of playing anywhere in the middle of the park, plenty feel that he would be the perfect target to consider.
Spurs signed Christian Eriksen from Ajax back in 2013. And one fan has suggested that they should look to the Dutch club to now provide his replacement.
