Tottenham fans react to Dane Scarlett performance for Under-18 outfit

Tottenham secured a stunning comeback victory during their under-18 clash with Norwich City this afternoon. Dane Scarlett caught the eye with a tidy performance as the young Spurs ran out 5-2 winners. 

It was the youngster’s goal that proved the catalyst to the superb win. He notched on the stroke of half-time to halve the deficit after two Norwich goals.

Second-half strikes by Marqes Muir and Roshaun Mathurin helped Spurs complete victory, with Jamie Donley bagging a well-deserved brace.

It was the performance of Scarlett which once again caught the eye though. The 17-year-old is doing great things for the development teams at Tottenham and has played for the first team this season.

He has made two appearances in the Europa League and has made it off the bench for the senior ranks in the Premier League.

That certainly bodes well for the future and clearly, he is very highly rated behind the scenes at the club.

Scarlett has now scored 24 goals in 25 games for the under-18 ranks this season and it might not be long before he’s playing regularly for the first-team.
