Tottenham goalkeeper Brandon Austin has signed a new contract – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter are delighted with the news.
Spurs confirmed on their official website that the 20-year-old has penned a new deal to extend his stay with the North London outfit.
The English shot-stopper has signed a deal that runs until 2022 and he’s a highly-rated talent that has come through the academy.
Austin has been a regular for Spurs at youth level in recent years and was recently drafted into England’s Under-21s squad.
He’s yet to receive his senior debut at club level, but has featured on the bench in five first-team games so far.
With club captain Hugo Lloris currently sidelined through injury, the young goalkeeper has been a substitute in four Premier League matches and also a Champions League group stage fixture.

A selection of Spurs supporters on social media are thrilled to see Austin commit his future and feel that he does have a bright future.
Mourinho has already explained he will make rotations for the team’s trip to Bayern Munich on Wednesday in the Champions League group stages due to the fact they have already reached the knockouts, so it will be intriguing to see if any youngsters are thrown into the deep end.
