Habib Diallo is the latest striker to be linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
According to TEAMtalk, Chelsea and Tottenham have entered the race for Diallo. Leicester City and Newcastle United have been hunting the FC Metz striker but Chelsea and Tottenham are now keen.
Harry Kane is Tottenham’s only recognised senior striker. Son Heung-Min and Lucas Moura can play there while Troy Parrott is showing some promise. However, Mauricio Pochettino might choose to sign a new striker this winter.
Diallo is a potential option. The Senegal international has scored eight goals in 13 matches this season for Metz. This is the club’s first season back in Ligue 1 after Diallo scored 26 goals to spearhead their promotion push last season.
Diallo for £10m
The 24-year-old is reportedly valued at £10m. Metz do not want to sell but bids of around £10m would be enough to prise him away. This could be a lower-cost swoop for Daniel Levy in January.
Tottenham fans have flocked to social media to discuss these links with Diallo. Here are some of the best tweets about this transfer rumour.

Not passing any judgement on Diallo in particular but if this is how Levy wants Poch to shop for players in year 6 then he should walk. Unless someone can convince me this guy is levels above Troy Parrott theres no reason to slow his growth. He is our cheap backup striker already
