Tottenham fans react on Twitter to Wilfried Zaha reports

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the Daily Mirror’s report which has claimed that Wilfried Zaha’s agent is attempting to facilitate a move to Spurs.

It is difficult to remember a transfer window which has not included speculation surrounding Zaha’s future. The 27-year-old is regularly linked with a move away from Selhurst Park.

And it turns out that this January is no different.

The Daily Mirror have reported that Zaha’s new agent Pini Zahavi is working to try and engineer a move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. It has been suggested that Chelsea have cooled their interest in Zaha.

The Mirror notes that Spurs wanted Zaha in the summer, but have little interest in going near Palace’s £80 million asking price.

And it appears that the Tottenham fans are quite divided in their response to the reports. There are some fans who are adamant that he would be a fantastic signing.

Zaha has been one of the most exciting talents in the Premier League for some time. He scored 19 goals across the last two top flight seasons. And some clearly feel that he could be a brilliant addition to Jose Mourinho’s squad.

On the other hand however, there are some who do not want Zaha. He has arguably been less influential this season. He would argue that he has been targeted a lot more by opposition. But other supporters are not convinced that he would be worth the money.

And there are plenty of fans who have expressed their frustration at the rumour. Spurs seem to have been linked with Zaha on numerous occasions down the years. And some supporters are clearly not buying the idea that anything is going to come of the reports this time around.
