A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to react to the news that Denmark will be without Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg for their first game of the international break due to injury.
Hojbjerg has been an ever-present throughout his time with Spurs. In fact, he has not yet missed a single Premier League game since his move from Southampton.

But the Danes have been dealt a blow. They confirmed ahead of their World Cup qualifier with the Faroe Islands that the 26-year-old will be out due to injury.
Kasper Hjulmand’s men have already qualified for next year’s World Cup. They boast a flawless record in their group, having won every game without conceding a goal.
The positive news for Denmark, and for Spurs, is that the nation have suggested that they hope to have Hojbjerg back for the second game, against Scotland.

But obviously, that does not alleviate all of the concerns of the Tottenham fans.
Hojbjerg has been a key player for Spurs. And they are already without Oliver Skipp for the clash with Leeds due to suspension.
They are desperately hoping that Hojbjerg’s injury is not serious, as Denmark currently suggest.

In some ways, and from a Tottenham perspective, it is the best time for the midfielder to sustain a problem.
But the fans will feel a lot better if Hojbjerg does indeed prove to be back in time to face Scotland at the start of next week.
