A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to praise Tanguy Ndombele’s performance after the midfielder scored the winner in their Europa League qualifier on Thursday.
Spurs endured a tough time up against Lokomotiv Plovdiv. The tie reached the final 20 minutes still goalless. However, it must be noted that Steven Bergwijn was somehow denied a penalty after what appeared to be a clear foul.

Jose Mourinho’s men actually went behind late on. And it appeared that the Bulgarian side were about to pile the misery on Mourinho after their opening weekend defeat.
But an incredible end to the game ensured that Spurs scraped through. The hosts ended the game with nine men on the pitch.

Harry Kane equalised from the spot. And it was Ndombele who bagged the winner with five minutes remaining as the Frenchman found the bottom corner from close range after getting on the end of Lucas Moura’s cross.
Ndombele was brought on with just half an hour left. And plenty of Tottenham fans have suggested that he was a standout performer on an underwhelming night for the Premier League side.
It has not been an easy time for the midfielder. There was plenty of speculation surrounding his future over the summer. The Sun was amongst those to report that Spurs were ready to sell him.
However, while the victory will hardly go down as one of the great nights in Tottenham’s history, the fans are hoping that Ndombele’s impact could prove a turning point for him.
Here is how some of the fans reacted to Ndombele’s cameo…
