A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from The Sun suggesting that Jose Mourinho is ready to sell Tanguy Ndombele this summer.
Ndombele’s future has looked uncertain for some time. The 23-year-old has not played 90 minutes for Spurs since December.
The Sun reports that Jose Mourinho attempted to go to extra lengths to try and reshape Ndombele. However, he has now deemed that the Frenchman is surplus to requirements after he failed to respond to the additional training.
Of course, some supporters may have their doubts about the reports. It is a time of year when numerous rumours come to nothing. However, it is perhaps telling that the Daily Mail have made a similar claim regarding Ndombele’s future.
And the reports have prompted a lot of disappointment amongst the Tottenham fans. It is surely fair to say that Ndombele has the ability and talent to be one of the finest midfielders in the Premier League.
Nevertheless, many feel that it is time to move him on. Some have their concerns that they may regret the decision in the coming years.
However, several fans have insisted that they would be better off recouping most of the money they spent on Ndombele rather than holding onto him in the hope that the situation changes.
Here is how some of the Tottenham fans reacted to the reports…
We will totally regret selling him this summer. He will be absolutely awesome at next club w the right motivation and management supporting him

Who knows what will happen. He is a £50M asset though. We need to find a way to make that money work for us. Either through Tanguy or other players. Figure it out.

If Jose’ can’t fix him then I’m not sure who can ! It would be great to really understand what has happened to Tanguy during his time at Spurs, it will be a real shame to see him leave us👎

If he goes I hope it’s done quick so that maybe we get the chance at picking up Milik and Sabitzer. Sorry Tanguay, sometimes it just isn’t the right fit.

Tottenham should sell..it makes a lot of sense..never worked out with poch and now Jose..he doesn’t train well and doesn’t want to be pressured into a bettter player..it’s the right time to cash in..many alternatives to come in and come big on 30M£
