Tottenham Hotspur supporters appear to have somewhat mixed feelings after watching Sergio Reguilon produce a moment of brilliance on international duty on Saturday.
Reguilon has taken little time to establish himself as a fan favourite in North London. He has looked to be an inspired addition for Jose Mourinho’s men.

And he has taken that form with him after linking up with Spain in this break. It was his superb assist that allowed Gerard Moreno to score a 89th minute equaliser against Switzerland in the Nations League this weekend.
The 23-year-old bent a brilliant cross into Moreno’s path after being played in down the left wing.

It spared Spain’s blushes after Sergio Ramos had had two penalties saved in the same game. Switzerland also had a man sent off for the foul that saw the visitors awarded their second spot-kick.
But Reguilon was one of those who produced an impressive display. As shown by Whoscored.com, only the two Spanish centre-backs made a greater number of successful passes.
Meanwhile, Dani Olmo was the only player to better Reguilon’s tally of three key passes. He also made two clearances – no teammate made more than one.
Unsurprisingly, plenty of Spurs fans were full of praise for Reguilon’s display. And many were hugely impressed by the assist.
They are just hoping that Real Madrid’s decision-makers were paying little attention amid reports from Football London that Los Blancos had a buy-back clause inserted into the deal that saw Reguilon arrive in North London.
Here is what some Spurs fans were saying following Reguilon’s international display…
