A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from Football London suggesting that AC Milan are preparing a bid for Serge Aurier.
Aurier has endured a mixed time since moving to the Premier League in 2017. There have arguably been some colossal performances from the Ivory Coast international.
However, Spurs supporters would probably also be able to list a number of costly errors made by the 27-year-old.
He has been first-choice at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since Kieran Trippier left the club in the summer. And his form has done little to silence his critics.
Football London reports that Spurs could have the chance to offload Aurier this month. AC Milan are reportedly preparing a £15 million bid for the full-back.
It is suggested by Football London that Tottenham want a fee much closer to the £25 million that they spent on the former Paris Saint-Germain player.
Interestingly, reports concerning Aurier’s future have divided some of the fans on social media. There are some who believe that Jose Mourinho would be foolish not to accept the Rossoneri’s offer.
Those supporters appear convinced that Aurier is too much of a liability. And they are clearly hoping that a new signing can be brought in in that position.
However, not everyone wants to see Aurier leave. Some fans have suggested that he has improved, and it would be a mistake to let him go to San Siro this month.
Here is what some of the Tottenham fans make of the reports…

We need Aurier until the summer at least when we can get an upgrade, I honestly dont think he is the problem at the moment it’s midfield and a striker
