A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from ESPN this week suggesting that Spurs are one of the teams interested in signing Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Raul Jimenez – and it appears that the supporters are not optimistic about their chances of a deal.
Spurs look to be heading into a crucial summer. Jose Mourinho will not win a trophy during his first few months at the helm, and is now facing a major fight to get the team into next term’s Champions League.

The supporters would be forgiven for hoping for an exciting and eventful window. And it appears that the club may also have their eye on some marquee additions.
According to a report from ESPN, Tottenham and Arsenal are both interested in Jimenez, who has been a revelation during his time in the Premier League.

He has scored 26 league goals since the start of last season, while he has also provided 13 assists.
He would arguably be a sensational signing for Tottenham. However, it seems that there are not many Spurs fans holding out much hope of a move taking place.
Wolves sit two places higher in the Premier League than Spurs. And they are also performing incredibly well in the Europa League.
Some Tottenham fans cannot see why Jimenez would want to leave Nuno Espirito Santo’s men for North London right now. And they are not getting their hopes up.
However, plenty have admitted that he would be a fantastic addition to Mourinho’s ranks if a move was at all possible.
Here is how some of the supporters have reacted to the reports…
