A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Daily Mirror over the weekend suggesting that Spurs are one of the sides interested in signing Philippe Coutinho this summer.

The Daily Mirror has reported four Premier League sides have all made enquiries for the Barcelona man, with Bayern Munich set to turn down the chance to make his loan move permanent.

According to the Mirror, Spurs have been joined by Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea in registering an interest in the 27-year-old, who earns £240,000-a-week. The quartet are all reportedly interested in signing Coutinho on loan.

Many would clearly snap him up on loan if he is available. Some have their doubts with Coutinho not making a huge impression since leaving the Reds for Barca.

But there are plenty of Tottenham supporters on social media hoping that there is something in the reports. And they are hoping that Jose Mourinho is the man to bag Coutinho’s signature this summer.
