Tottenham fans react on Twitter to performance of Tanguy Ndombele against Everton
The Frenchman was introduced as a second-half substitute.
Tottenham were beaten 1-0 by Everton in their Premier League curtain-raiser yesterday afternoon and supporters have been reacting about the performance of Tanguy Ndombele.
The French midfielder has been the subject of speculation linking him with a move away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.
Nonetheless, he was included in Jose Mourinho’s squad for the visit of Everton, with the 23-year-old introduced as a 76th-minute substitute.

It was a poor performance from start to finish for Spurs and their fans are already in a mood with Mourinho after just 90 minutes of the campaign.
Everton were organised, professional and stuck to their game plan. The Toffees got their just rewards when Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored the winning goal in the second half.
Ndombele failed to scale the heights that his £63 million transfer fee had promised last season. The man paid £200,000-a-week by Tottenham flattered to deceive, playing 29 times in all competitions.
It would seem that some supporters were pretty satisfied with him yesterday during his cameo and are calling for him to start more under Mourinho.
Here is a selection of Tweets from Tottenham supporters regarding the performance of French midfielder Ndombele.
Ndombele lo celso would be class hojbjerg looked shockingly awful today but with ndombele lo celso our midfield will be unstoppable

Ndombele’s first pass… probably our best pass of the match.

Ndombele broke more lines in 30 seconds than Winks Hojbjerg Sissoko all game

Our team was so stale last night without any sort of attacking threat. Ndombele is what we need to link the mid to the attack. Jose has said that Ndombele has been working hard, and hopefully it’ll show soon.

Still can’t believe that very first pass by Ndombele. Only time I got excited in the game. #THFC

Ndombele has to start, Bergwijn has to start, Sanchez has to start, Sessengnon has to start. We have to lose the stodgyness. The speed of pass yesterday was woeful. Sluggish, cautious, and then, to top it all, inaccurate and wasteful.
