A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the London Evening Standard suggesting that five clubs are looking at taking Oliver Skipp on loan next season.
The report suggests that Skipp is keen to leave on loan during this window. The 19-year-old only made one league start for Spurs this past season.
Despite his lack of game-time, he appears to be attracting plenty of interest. The London Evening Standard reports that Southampton and Burnley are keen to take the teenager on loan next term.
Meanwhile, promotion-chasing Fulham could also offer him a chance in the Premier League next year should they win the play-offs.
Fellow admirers Nottingham Forest and Reading cannot be ruled out either, with the London Evening Standard noting that Skipp is aware that a spell in the Championship is more likely to lead to regular game-time.
The report has claimed that Fulham are currently in pole position. Of course, Scott Parker knows Skipp well from his time working on Tottenham’s coaching staff.
And it appears that there are some supporters who hope to see Skipp head to Fulham for that exact reason. They believe that Parker is the right man to help him develop further.
There are others who would like to see him stay in the top flight. And there are also supporters who wish that he was going nowhere, particularly with Tottenham set to be involved in the Europa League.
Here is how some of the fans reacted to the reports…
parker helping skipp and tottenham helping parker. would be good to see

I don’t want Skipp to go out on loan. With us being in Europa League, he should be able to get a decent amount of games next season. Unless we are planning to use Gedson in a CDM role then maybe Skipp going on loan would make sense. #COYS #THFC

No, Skipp will get lots of game time in Europa next season

Skipp needs consistent game time, I get that. But, we could also use him well in the EL group stages.
Parrott out on loan is a no-brainer and a great place for him to learn more and get game time at Millwall.

Fulham would be great, especially considering he’d be working under Parker

Just want him to go somewhere where he will play. That is what matters
